This is a view of the Gilbertville covered bridge from the Hardwick (Gilbertville) side of the Ware River.Note the concrete barriers; the bridge is currently (2007) closed to vehicle traffic.

Ware River Spillway

This is the spillway for the Ware River canal. As you can see, there is a footbridge over the spillway. Just out of the picture is a control building for the waterworks.

Ware River Waterfall

This is the waterfall adjacent to the spillway (you can see the supports for its footbridge at the left of this picture).Because of security fencing, this was the best picture I could take of the falls.
