Henry Knox Cannon Train Marker

Knox passed by Watertown on the "Old Watertown Path" to deliver his "Noble Train of Artillery" to General Washington. When General Howe saw the cannon perched atop Dorchester Heights on March 5th, he decided to attack them the next day, but was hamstrung by a wicked windswept rainstorm. He then decided to evacuate Boston. There are dozens of these markers along the Knox Trail from Lake George down the Hudson River Valley and east in to Massachusetts. See...
